Send a voice note and Relay transcribes it automatically so it can be read and searched.
Call recording and history
Calls can be recorded and transcribed based on your organization's settings. A banner shows on screen while a call is being recorded. Call history is searchable.
AI search and summaries
Ask a question about your conversations, or ask Relay to summarize a conversation or a week, with the supporting messages shown.
Tasks and reminders
Assign tasks, repeat them on a schedule, archive finished work, and schedule messages to send later.
Notifications and availability
Push notifications for messages and calls, and last-seen status so you know who is reachable.
Admin controls
Owners and admins create employee accounts and disable a person's access at any time. Message history is kept.
Business operations tools
Work orders and property task tools for teams that run properties or field work, alongside everyday chat.

How Relay calling works
Calls between Relay users
Voice and video calls run over the internet between Relay accounts inside your team. Relay does not use phone numbers for these calls and does not place calls to regular phone lines today.
Recording and consent
Recording depends on your organization's settings. When a call is being recorded, Relay shows a banner on the call screen. Your organization is responsible for following the call-recording laws that apply to it. Relay does not make prerecorded or automated marketing calls, and agreeing to text messages does not authorize any such calls.

One price per person. Every feature that is available today is included.
Frequently asked questions
Is Relay a replacement for Slack?
Relay is an affordable option for teams that mainly need messaging, calls, voice notes and task coordination in one app. It is a smaller product and does not have a large app marketplace or the integrations a bigger platform offers. Read the list of what is available today before you decide.
How much does Relay cost?
$10 per team member per month. Billing is arranged with you when we set up your team.
Can I sign up and pay online?
Not yet. Use the form on this page to request to get started. We will contact you, set up your team, and agree on billing before anything is charged.
Does Relay record calls?
Only if your organization turns recording on. When a call is being recorded, a banner appears on the call screen. Your organization decides who can see recordings and transcripts and how long they are kept.
Does Relay send text messages?
Not today. Relay uses in-app messages and push notifications. We are preparing optional SMS notifications. They will only go to people who opt in. Read the SMS consent page for the details and to set your preferences.
Can I call regular phone numbers from Relay?
No. Relay calls connect people who have Relay accounts on your team.
Which devices does Relay run on?
iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows. The iPhone app is distributed through TestFlight while the App Store release is in progress.
How is my data handled?
Read the Privacy Policy. Relay does not sell your information and does not use your messages, calls or files to show advertising.
